Hooper Park/Soda Springs Geyser

We drove over to Soda Springs one night to show the kids the largest man made geyser. Seth has really been into geysers since our trip to Yellowstone. We were having a hard time finding it, which is silly since the town is so little. But in looking we found Hooper park and let the kids out to play for a bit. There is a natural spring running through the park and lots of really old play equipment. They enjoyed it!

This is a natural spring that you can drink right out of.

We finally made it to the geyser in time to see it erupt. It supposedly is as high as Old Faithful. The kids that that was pretty neat!

Patiently waiting for the geyser to erupt.

How is it you've lived in Idaho all of a few months and I've been here my whole life and I've never heard of this place?! We may have to pack the boys up and head over and check it out. Glad you had a great time!
