9 Year Anniversary

This is what I woke up to this morning...

WOW how time flies when you are having fun. Today is mine and Tim's 9 year wedding Anniversary and 14 years of dating. To me it feels like yesterday. ( To Tim, probably not so much ;)) I still remember getting so excited and giddy when I would hear the tires on his old bronco rumbling down the road and the his music base shaking my little snow shack. He would always stop by on his way home from work to see me and I would get those butterflies in my belly...well lets be honest. I still get that same feeling almost every time he comes in the door. I love that man more than anything in this world and I just want to say Happy Anniversary babe. I love you and look forward to spending many more happy years with my best friend.

Pinewood Derby Time

Stan and Pam's ward was having a Neighborhood Derby for anyone who wanted to come. We decided to make a car for Seth to race in the derby. This is the car that Seth made with his daddy.

We were having a hard time getting the wheels to turn really well so we decided we would bring some extra ones...we ended up bringing one for Macee and Seth invited his friend Brody along for the fun too. Luckily Tim's mom was really good about saving stuff from when her kids were kids so we pulled out Tim's and Jason's cars from back in their day! They were a hit.
Here is Macee getting her car all weighed in.

Seth getting his car all ready to race! (Gotta love his scraped up face. He face planted into the cement while trying to jump the porch on his scooter.)

Silly kids waiting patiently for their cars turn to race.

Macee's car won "Most Retro"

Seth's car won "Best Driver in the Car"

Seth's car took 4th overall! He was pretty excited about it too. The kids had a blast at the derby. I love to see Tim get involved with his kids. He is such an amazing dad and we are so lucky he is ours.

Seth's Stats

I took Seth in for his Pre-Kindergarten Check Up and these are his stats: (Just for my personal record)

Height: 45.4" (75%)

Weight: 44lbs (50%)

Body Mass Index: (35%)

Vision: 20/20

I will admit I was a little nervous taking him in knowing he was going to have to get 4 shots. I thought he was going to freak out. After the Dr. was all done seeing him and the sweet nurses told him to lay on the table he tried to act so tough. Once they doubled up on him and the shots were done he had a couple of tears run down his cheeks, but overall he was so BRAVE!

I will admit it was a little emotional walking in the Dr's office and thinking back to the day I brought my two week old baby there and now here we are walking out and he is all ready for kindergarten. WOW! Time sure flies by. Mommy loves you Seth and is proud of you. Oh how I wish you could stay my little boy forever...
