Christmas 2009

It was another exciting holiday season come and gone. This year Christmas Eve was at my house with my family. It was nice and relaxing and as always great be with my family. We only get together a couple times a year and I cherish every minute of it.

Here is a picture of me, Andrew, Stephanie and mom.

Then for the real magic. Here comes Santa Clause..Ho Ho Ho!

Tim and I had so much fun playing the Santa card this year. It is just so magical. I honestly feel like a kid again. Seth got him a dirt bike, something that was promised when he could ride his bike with no training wheels. Mae got her a kitchen.

Here they are opening up presents. Macee was so funny. She would have been content with one present. They truly loved every minute of it.

When Seth saw the bike he didn't know what to say. I think he was in shock. He said, "How did Santa fit that in his sleigh?"

...then Macee said, "Where is my motorcycle?" I think we are in trouble! Maybe Santa will bring her one next year. If she is a good girl that is!

Hope ya'll had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Holiday Cheer

Seth's Pre School put on a Christmas music performance. It was so fun to go and watch. It was later in the afternoon and you could tell the kids were tired but it was still a great time.

Here is a little video of the kids singing....or Seth not so much:) Merry Christmas Everyone!

Macee Lou Just Turned TWO!!

My little Macee just celebrated her 2nd Birthday. Where has the time gone? My baby is growing up so fast. She had a great Birthday which was suitable for the princess herself.

Grandma Kathy was going to be out of town for Macee's Birthday so she came over earlier in the week to spend some time with her. She gave Macee princess dress ups and the kids had so much fun dressing up. Thanks Grandma!

Here is a picture of my two princess' (yikes...should I be worried?)

For the Party!! Here are some fun pics!

We finally have baby doll stuff so Macee doesn't have to play tractors all the time.

We did a pinata for all the kids and they all had a great time!

Some Fun Facts about Macee...
1. Her favorite movie is Wall-E (We all complain when its her turn to pick the movie because we know what she is going to pick.)
2. Macee is a very loud kid. We often wonder if she is deaf because she is so loud.
3. She is at the age where she is the biggest copy cat. She loves to copy EVERYTHING her brother does. He laughs obnoxiously...she laughs obnoxiously. Makes everything interesting. She is his little trailer.
4. She is the towns BIGGEST bully. We can never leave her alone in a room full of kids because you better believe they will all be crying because Macee hurt them. Yikes! She is my pay back:)
5. She loves her mommy. She has always been a BIG mommy's girl. However, she is loving her dad more and more.
6. Macee is a Tom boy. She loves everything boy....digging in the sand box, playing with trucks and tractors, riding four wheelers and camping. (As long as she has a bow in her hair I am fine with that.)
7. Macee's favorite person is her Grandpa Christensen. They have always shared a special bond.
8. She loves anything electronic. I have had to call Comcast to walk me through some off the messes she has gotten us into with the TV remote and I also had to pull out my house phone manual to fix that too!
9. Her favorite thing to do is color...ON EVERYTHING!!!
10. Macee loves Seth so much...she especially loves to torture him.
We love having Macee in our family. She makes it excting that's for sure.
LOVE YOU MACEE GIRL. HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY!!

Trick or Treats?

It has been such a busy week. We were so lucky to have Tori come spend the week with us. The kids kept busy with making treats and parties. We went the grandma and grandpa Christensen's ward trunk-or-treat and also the Maxfield's invited us to their wards trunk-or treat too. The kids had so much fun. Here are just a couple of pics of the kids making some treats.

This Halloween we just went trick or treating to a couple of homes around our neighborhood. It was a nice Halloween.

Pumpkin Carvin Time

My mom had all the grand kids over for some pumpkin carving and cupcake decorating. It was so good to see my sis and her kids. They are getting so big. Thanks mom for the fun day!

Halloween Fun

It has been such a busy and fun month with all the fun fall festivities. It started out with the Robertson Halloween party. Kristin and I worked all morning on sugar cookies...which really brought back a lot of memories. We used to make Halloween cookies together back in the 5th grade. The party was a big success and the kids had a blast.

Like Father Like Son

So I have been meaning to blog about this for some time and I am finally getting around to it. Seth came up to Tim about 3 weeks ago and asked him to take off his training wheels. We didn't think he would be ready seems how he can barely reach the ground. So Tim decided to let Seth ride his bike with NO training wheels and he took off with no problem. Seth has always had great motor skills just like his daddy. "Now I can get a motorcycle like you daddy!" Seth says. Yikes!

We made him a ramp to jump and he thought that was cool for a couple days before he was telling us to build him a bigger one. So for his Birthday we got him a bike ramp. He has had a few good crashes but that doesn't slow him down. Here is a video of Seth riding his bike with NO training wheels and on his new ramp.

Just for the record here is a little video of Tim riding his unicycle..ha ha! Pretty impressive for an old man.

Seth's 4th Birthday

My baby just turned 4 years old!! I cannot believe how fast the time has gone. He is such a good kid and we are so happy to have him in our lives.

10 Things About Seth

1. He is obsessed with tractors...still
2. He loves to play in the sand box all hours of the day
3. He loves to ride his bike (he loves to pop wheelies and jump)
4. His favorite movie is Toy Story
5. He loves going to Pre School
6. He would eat a hot for for breakfast, lunch and dinner if you let him (sick)
7. His best friend is his cousin Tori
8. He loves his sister soooo sooo much
9. He has to have his chocolate milk in the morning
10. He loves holidays (like his mother)

This year for his Birthday he wanted to do a Superman party. Not quite sure where he got the idea. I tried talking him into tractors or Spider man, but he insisted on Superman. So that is what he got. We had his Birthday at Bouncin Off the Walls again this year and it was so much fun. He got lots of nice presents and we all had a great time. Here are some pics!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUDDY! WE LOVE YOU!!

So at the end of the day we asked Seth what his favorite thing of the day was and he said candles and Birthday cake. So here is Seth blowing out his candles!

...and here is Macee in the bounce house!

State Fair

It is our annual tradition that we go to the state fair with one of my besties, Krisitn, to celebrate our September Birthday's and this year was no exception. We love to go there just for the dinner. We always get the Navajo tacos and then funnel cakes for dessert...delish! The kids loved seeing all the animals and they got to ride on the ponies. Macee was so upset when she had to get off that they let her go one more round...ahh! It was a blast. Here are some pics!

Camping at the Dunes

Last weekend we decided to load up the trailer and go camping to the Dunes with our neighbors. It was a nice hot day on Saturday but the night brought rain, which made for a perfect day to ride and play all day Sunday! The kids loved playing in the sand and Seth rode his bike all over the hills. Now he thinks he needs a dirt bike...more on that on another post!

BIG Fish

Seth went fishing with his Pa and caught a bunch of fish. He was so proud of himself. He was casting his fishing pole around the house for a couple days after....he really wanted me to cook them for dinner. Needless to say non of us like fish so they are still in the freezer but here are some pictures of them.
