October ~ Girls Weekend and Halloween

Girls Weekend in Park City

We usually do girls weekend in September to celebrate mine and Kristin's Birthdays, but this year we did it the first weekend in October. I think this will be the new tradition. It was such a fun weekend. We stayed at the Silverado Lodge, which was a nice condo. Friday night we all met up and went to dinner. Then we got a bunch of junk food and just went back to the condo and ate and had girl talk till about 4 in the morning :) We got up early the next day and headed out to get our shop on. After a day at the outlets we went home and got ready for the show, Thriller! It was such an amazing show and we all had a great time. On Sunday we all took our time getting ready and then went out to brunch. I think we were all sad to have it end. It went by so fast and we created some fun memories. Thanks girls for the fun weekend!

Macee's Field Trip to Evans Family Farm

Macee had a field trip with her preschool class to the Evans Family Farm. They had lots of fun going through the corn maze,  going on pony rides, hay rides and picking their very own pumpkins. Such a fun day.

 Pumpkin Patch

My kids count down to Halloween and when they can go to the pumpkin patch like most kids do with Christmas. They love the Halloween season and all the fun festivities that come along with it. I cant blame them. Fall is definitely my favorite time of year too ;) So as tradition follows we took the kids to the pumpkin patch to pick out their very own pumpkins. Seth wanted to find the biggest one there. I think he came pretty close.

Hadley is teething so she isn't that happiest camper.

Halloween Party

Susan was having a neighborhood Halloween party in Richfield and invited us to come down and join. I'm so glad we did. We all had a great time. Susan had some fun food and games planned and all the cousins had a good time hanging out.

Pumpkin Carving with Grandma and Grandpa Warner

My mom grew pumpkins in her garden this year and had one for each of us to carve. She invited us all over for yummy chili in pumpkin bread bowls. After eating we all carved away. It was so fun being together with my family. Stephanie was there with her kids and it was so fun getting the cousins together. After carving the kids got to decorate yummy cookies...they were delish!
Carving Time...Seth carved his very own pumpkin this year.
Enjoying our yummy chili.

Later that day the kids went out and played in all the leaves in the yard.  They we having a blast jumping in them....now every time Hadley sees leaves she runs and plays and has to roll around in them. So cute!

 Halloween Eve - Pumpkin Carving

The night before Halloween the kids carved their pumpkins. Macee wanted a Hello Kitty, Seth a spider and Hadley is just happy to be there playing in the guts and doing what she does best...making a mess!
