June ~ My Chunky Monkey Turns ONE!

My baby celebrated her 1st Birthday. It is so hard to believe she is already ONE but at the same time I wish she was three ;) I thought that since she was my last I would want to keep her a baby forever. I guess that's how I know I am done...and done with the baby stage too! She was such a good baby for the first six months...I guess because she had to be. I will say these last six months she has kept me on my toes. Definitely my hardest baby so far but I wouldn't trade her for the world!
I decided she was going to have a monkey Birthday because she is my chunky monkey! We had family and friends over for a BBQ and for cake and ice cream. It was a great day!

Happy Birthday Hadley!

She definitely did the best out of all the kids with her cake but I thought she would have dug in a  little deeper!

Some fun facts about Hadley...
  • Hadley is the family tease...she can't stand when her brother and sister are happy so she will go over and pull their hair just to get a rise out of them :)
  • Hadley is a BIG mommy's girl but she also likes her daddy.
  • Hadley's favorite thing to do is read books. She likes to point at all the animals in any book and bark like a dog at them.
  • Hadley loves dogs and other animals too.
  • Hadley likes baby dolls. She loves to cuddle with them and feed them.
  • She loves her blanket.
  • Hadley is mommy's sidekick...she is always on her feet whether she is getting ready for the day, cooking, doing dishes or changing the laundry around. Hadley is there to help and loves to be a big helper.
  • Some words she is saying are: mom, dad, Seth, hot, dog, kitty, she moos like a cow, hisses for a snake, meows like a cat, vrooms for motorcycles.
  • Hadley is a cheeky little thing and has a smile on her face a lot of the time...it's hard to get mad at her when she is in trouble, which is frequently :)
  • She is very clumsy and mom literally has feared for her life more than once.
  • Her nicknames are Orphan Annie and Pigpen because she literally can't stand to be clean. As soon as I get her ready for the day she has to rub whatever it is she is eating (which is all the time) all over her hair and face. She never has a clean face and her hair is always a rats nest....not that I don't try ;)
We love this little girl. Although she is very independent, strong willed and challenging for her parents she bring so much joy to our lives and really completes us.

We love you Chunky Monkey!

What a cutie! Everyone's gotta have one of "those" kids right? ;) It's only fair.
