Like Father Like Son

So I have been meaning to blog about this for some time and I am finally getting around to it. Seth came up to Tim about 3 weeks ago and asked him to take off his training wheels. We didn't think he would be ready seems how he can barely reach the ground. So Tim decided to let Seth ride his bike with NO training wheels and he took off with no problem. Seth has always had great motor skills just like his daddy. "Now I can get a motorcycle like you daddy!" Seth says. Yikes!

We made him a ramp to jump and he thought that was cool for a couple days before he was telling us to build him a bigger one. So for his Birthday we got him a bike ramp. He has had a few good crashes but that doesn't slow him down. Here is a video of Seth riding his bike with NO training wheels and on his new ramp.

Just for the record here is a little video of Tim riding his unicycle..ha ha! Pretty impressive for an old man.

Seth's 4th Birthday

My baby just turned 4 years old!! I cannot believe how fast the time has gone. He is such a good kid and we are so happy to have him in our lives.

10 Things About Seth

1. He is obsessed with tractors...still
2. He loves to play in the sand box all hours of the day
3. He loves to ride his bike (he loves to pop wheelies and jump)
4. His favorite movie is Toy Story
5. He loves going to Pre School
6. He would eat a hot for for breakfast, lunch and dinner if you let him (sick)
7. His best friend is his cousin Tori
8. He loves his sister soooo sooo much
9. He has to have his chocolate milk in the morning
10. He loves holidays (like his mother)

This year for his Birthday he wanted to do a Superman party. Not quite sure where he got the idea. I tried talking him into tractors or Spider man, but he insisted on Superman. So that is what he got. We had his Birthday at Bouncin Off the Walls again this year and it was so much fun. He got lots of nice presents and we all had a great time. Here are some pics!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUDDY! WE LOVE YOU!!

So at the end of the day we asked Seth what his favorite thing of the day was and he said candles and Birthday cake. So here is Seth blowing out his candles!

State Fair

It is our annual tradition that we go to the state fair with one of my besties, Krisitn, to celebrate our September Birthday's and this year was no exception. We love to go there just for the dinner. We always get the Navajo tacos and then funnel cakes for dessert...delish! The kids loved seeing all the animals and they got to ride on the ponies. Macee was so upset when she had to get off that they let her go one more round...ahh! It was a blast. Here are some pics!

Camping at the Dunes

Last weekend we decided to load up the trailer and go camping to the Dunes with our neighbors. It was a nice hot day on Saturday but the night brought rain, which made for a perfect day to ride and play all day Sunday! The kids loved playing in the sand and Seth rode his bike all over the hills. Now he thinks he needs a dirt bike...more on that on another post!

BIG Fish

Seth went fishing with his Pa and caught a bunch of fish. He was so proud of himself. He was casting his fishing pole around the house for a couple days after....he really wanted me to cook them for dinner. Needless to say non of us like fish so they are still in the freezer but here are some pictures of them.

Last Summer there was a cat who had kittens in our window well. They were really cute and Seth loved looking at them through the window. He had to come down every morning to check on them and make sure they were still there. Me not being a fan of cats called the animal services to come and take them away. This Summer the same cat had kittens in our neighbors window well. They proceeded to do the same and called animal services to come get the kittens. They had to leave before the animal services showed up and asked us if we would tend to the kitten until they got there. I thought it might be fun for the kids to play with the kitten so I agreed. Here are a couple of pictures...good thing animal services showed up when they did or we may have been charged with animal cruelty. I think the kids about malled it to death.

A Day at the Beach

The kids and I got together with some of our great friends. We went over to the beach at Daybreak! I had a great time catching up with the girls, Alesha and Chelsea, while Seth had a blast with Koen and Raegan. Wyatt and Macee had a good time too! The kids all played so well. I think I would go there every day if I could. I am so blessed to have such great friends! Thanks girls for the good time.
